My name is Andrê Thoreau Coleman. I'm an Artist and a Designer. My studio is located in what is well known as the Test Market for North America - The MidWest. My personal aesthetic has been shaped by the changing seasons here and a long obsession with beautiful Design, breathtaking Fine Art, and the endless reach of ever emerging Technologies.

I am a voracious researcher with a knack for teasing out the elusive and authentic elements that help Brands speak.

I founded Studio Thoreau in 2008 with a personal commitment to making sure there's something handmade in every design solution we execute. Every job here starts with a pencil and the almighty Line. It's an authenticity that can be seen and felt in the final product.

As a Fine Artist I love to work with the human form. There's always a moment - usually midway through multiple drawing sessions - where the subject appears to emerge from the two dimensional paper and greet me with a spark of undeniable humanity digital cameras cannot capture. This never gets old.
